Training
hi Alois,
Lately I've been practicing against some people who are better than me... I'm the worst one there and they give me a hard time.
They yell at me for messing up at doubles, tell me I suck, that kind of thing. Worst part is they're the only one's who will play with me.. please help
Hi Justin,
That is a terrible situation to be in.
If you are not feeling comfortable there, leave the group. You are better off to be in an environment where you feel comfortable.
Can you find another group to play with anywhere?
If you get pushed back from the table don't just give up the point. Try and and get back into the rally. By lobbing the ball high and deep you give yourself time to get into position. If you can then get some topspin on the ball to force the smasher further away from the table then you are likely to get a weaker smash and then you can take your chance and try to counter attack!
