Hi Sir,

I am forty six years old ,veteran master left handed middle distance offensive attack player .

I use Timoboll Spirit blade and tenergy 05 FX max. on both side. I think the blade is  medium softness  even though it is  soft  .Tenergy 05 fx is soft also .Because of  both of them is soft .I feel better control.  It drives my play better control but less power than I wish . I can not stroke  or make top spin to direction  that I aimed easly . I can  not keep up  same direction on  my continous strokes  . So that  I would ike to  replace my blade Timoball ALC . Do you think that  Timoball ALC is little  harder than Timoboll  Spirit .Do you suggest us this changing  sıits  me . You mean that harder blade is  give better direction and more power than softer blade ,

thanks in

Hi Cihan,

I don't think the direction problem will come from the softer or harder blade but more to do with repetitive practice of strokes to get the stroke just right.  Direction difference can be as subtle as a little pressure on one finger.  This is a fine skill that needs repetition.

For speed I think that sort of set up should enable you to generate enough speed.  Perhaps it may be your arm or bat not moving through fast enough to generate the speed.  Think about freeing up your arm and body so that it allows you to swing faster while still maintaining your correct technique.

I haven't used ether of those blades.  Other readers that have may be able to offer more advice on their qualities.

Good luck with your game.
