Hi Jeff

It's Casey again can you please tell me how to do a sidespin serve because I'v been trying to do it from videos off you tube but nothing really gives me enough information can you please help me with this. Thanks.

Hi Casey,

There are a few principles you have to follow.  The first is to brush the ball on contact.  If you are looking down on the ball, imagine it as a flat clock face.  You need to hit the ball at 3 or 9 o'clock on the clockface.

The second thing is to brush the ball fast so that you generate more spin.
