thank you for your answer. but it does not work :-( my backhand topspin  is too weak and no problem for anyone. so i am looking for an alternative attack system with my pimples against underspin. no problem with counter and block against topspin.

(hope you understand my english)

best regards from vienna (austria)

Hi Rudi,

It is a shortfall of Short Pimples.  The other alternative would be to change to reverse pimples and work on our topspin.  It is very difficult to lift the backspin ball with short pimples.

Banana Flick

The banana flick has become one of the most important returns in table tennis. It allows you to attack almost any short ball and places your opponent under immediate pressure. Still it is a difficult stroke that takes a lot of practice to master.

it is rather unsatisfactorily - sorry

i saw a young french girl, playing against a very good defensive player. she was attacking very hard with her short pimples backhand staith forward and topspins not with pimples on forehand. but she was soo fast, i  was not able to follow her movements

Well, I wondered whether does choping back a chop works? I think, if your opponent applies backspin, try backspin against backspin. Try chop back your opponent's chop. Please give me your views whether this is right, thanks.

You can chop back the chop. The only problem comes if your opponent has a good attack against th echop ball, because it is difficult to return the long chop back short.
