Hi,

I can do a chop against a smash. But how to return that chop. By opening the angle of the bat a little or by topspinning it?

Thanks

Hi Sourav,

You can return that ball with a push or a topspin.  If you are going to topspin it you need to lift the ball with a more vertical stroke to be able to get the ball over the net because of the backspin.

Take a look at our lessons on the Forehand Push and the Forehand Topspin Off Backspin.
