how to know the spin of the ball ?
Hi Klarence,
There are a few things that will help you to recognise the spin.
First look at the contact and swing of the server. At the very basic level, if the server finishes with their bat to the right then that is the way the ball will spin off your bat. If they come down on the ball then the ball will go down off your bat.
You can also watch the swing on the ball. This may only be a small change but with experience you will start to see the swing on the ball.
The best teacher of how to recognise spin is to try to face as many different serves as you can.
