Strokes
Hi coach
Back with more questions sry bout that :)
I met with other players today they said that im not properly holding my racket. i hold it in a way i shakehands but they where saying that it should be aligned with the arm shoulder etc.. and when they placed it on my hand it feels very uncomfortable doing that kind of posture
Can i get some tips or important factors in properly holding a racket with the shakehand grip :)
Thx coack
Hi Amekun,
They are probably trying to get it straight in your hand. This is important otherwise you will have a grip that favours either the forehand and backhand too much.
As a guide I like to see the bat right in the 'V' of the hand between your thumb and forefinger.
Watch the lesson we have on Get a Grip for more tips.
