Lately my smashes either hit the net flat; or go out. how can i improve the accuracy of my forehand, and specifically, my backhand Smashes.

Hi Vigneswara,

You can add a little topspin to the ball to give it more safety.

The other thing is to wait for the ball to be a little higher before attempting to smash with both Forehand and Backhand.

Take a look at the tutorials on the Forehand Smash and Backhand Smash.
