Training
i had started playing the game when i was in class 6, now i am in class 10. i stay in a small town, uttarpara, in west bengal. it is an ordinary club and i go only saturday and sunday for 2 hours. i want to be a world champion. according to my coach i play very good. what would you recomend ?
Hi Rupsa,
The best thing is to find out about some tournaments. The Indian Table Tennis Federation would be the best place to look for that. Their website is http://www.ttfi.org.
Generating a lot of spin on your shots can make it difficult for you opponent. We use some standard drills this week and focus on getting more spin on your topspin strokes.

i can participate and win it only if i have a good club and a good practice session.......i lack that sir......
Sometimes it can be difficult. Just work as hard as you can with what you have and see where you can get to.

It may, depending on the school and the Table Tennis that is available there.

if the school is alright ... then ??
i wl take admission in class 11
and what are the opportunities while i play this game ??
You can learn a lot about yourself as well as perhaps one day become professional. There are limited opportunities for this. Think about it more for the joy of improving skills and the rest will take care of itself in the long term.
