Dealing with backspin serves

Whenever I return a heavy backspin serve it just goes straight to the net...how can I remove ds problm

Hi Fleming,

You need to alter the angle of your racket more if you are pushing it.  Open the angle up more and lift the ball a little if you need to.  If you are topspinning then again open the angle and try to move your bat through the stroke faster to contract the backspin.
