Strokes
hello, sir i want to learn backhand. My friend also tell me but i don't learn it then he tell me about this site. I also want to learn chop service or any other service?
Hi Farrukh,
Take a look at our lessons on the Backhand Counterhit and Backhand Topspin Against Block. See if you can learn these two shots well and you will start to feel more comfortable on the backhand side.
To do a chop service you need to brush the bottom of the ball. This will get the ball rotating backwards. Once you can do this, then focus on hitting the ball down on your side of the table close to you and quite fast. I hope this helps your game.
Question actions
The banana flick has become one of the most important returns in table tennis. It allows you to attack almost any short ball and places your opponent under immediate pressure. Still it is a difficult stroke that takes a lot of practice to master.
