Ratings system

Hello,

I am confused as to the ittf world rankings.  If you go to their rankings page (http://ittf.com/_front_page/ittf1.asp?category=wr) you can see all the ratings of the world's top players.  However, you can see that there are some player in the top 200 with ratings below 2000.  I know some players at my club with ratings above these players, and I know that it is not uncommon for a club to have several such players.  Why are these players not in the world rankings?

Hi Greg,

They are two different systems.  The system you are talking about is a U.S. system so it is based on totally different points.
