Hi Carlo,

There are a few types of Pimple rackets, Short, Medium and Long Pimples.

Short Pimples behave similar to an inverted rubber however they tend to generate less spin and also are left excepted by spin.

Long Pimples 'reverse' the spin and it is difficult to generate much spin with them.

Medium Pimples are somewhat in between.  They do tend to 'reverse' the spin on the ball but not as much as the long pimples and they are a little easier to attack with.

We have a couple of tutorials about using Long pimples.  Take a look at Long Pimple Chop Block and the Long Pimple attack against backspin

Also take a look at How to play with Short Pimple rubbers.
