hey, ive watched many movies of better players, and when someone is using a push against them they are able to loop the ball much harder than you are showing us in your videos, ive tried myself and when someone is pushing against me ill only be able to loop with alot of spin but almost no speed. and ive tried alot myself to make it over with less spin and more spin.. how do i make a topsin with my forehand harder then i normally do against a push?

Hi Eirik,

To make any or your attacking strokes faster you can start to use more body and move your arm through faster with the swing. The movement of body can be subtle with just a little hip movement coming through.

The contact of the bat on the ball can be flattened out as well to generate more speed.  The thinner the contact the less distance the ball will travel, and conversely, the flatter the contact the further the ball will travel.  There is a trade off between the spin and speed to gain consistency versus speed.

In our Premium lessons we have some more information on hitting the ball faster.
