hi im James and im 13years old. im a big fan of u guys and i wanna learn more about table tennis from u. i was just wondering i dont know how to do a topspin serve and i really wanna do one so could u help me or upload a vid? thanks =D
Hi James, To do a topspin serve you need to brush up on the ball. To do a topspin pendulum serve, hit the ball in the later part of your swing while the pendulum is going in an upward direction. This will give you the topspin. Don't do too many topspin serves, especially long ones because they are too easy to attack. In a match you should try to do about 8 out of 10 serves with backspin and then mix up the others between topspin and no spin.
Topspin-to-topspin rallies are fast, dynamic, and can be the key to winning more points! 🏓🔥 Learning how to control these exchanges will help you stay on the attack and put pressure on your opponent.
✅ How to adjust your technique for topspin rallies (compared to topspin vs. block)
✅ Why your stroke should be more forward and how to generate dip with topspin
✅ Tactical strategies – Mix up speed, spin, and placement for better control
✅ How to train this stroke effectively, even without a strong training partner

Hey, if your wondering about how to do topspin serves, then I suggest you buy one of 'Pingskills' DVD's called 'Serving Secrets Revealed'.
This DVD teaches you how to do all sorts of different serves; the pendulum and reverse pendulum serve, the tomahawk serve, backhand serve and even the high toss serve. In addition, this DVD teaches you how to put all different kinds of spin on your serve; from topspin, backspin and even topspin; as well as how to combine them to build up your service choice. This DVD also teaches you how to put more spin on the ball by teaching you the sort of contact you need to put on the ball and when you should use your wrist during the serve. Also, the DVD teaches you how to practice your serves in order to make them dominant in a game (by following a stage system).
I hope this helps you
