I bought a new racket that uses Gambler rubbers. I want to protect the tackiness (its a little tacky) but i dont want to buy rubber protector sheets. Google says that cling film might harm the rubber. Also how do i clean tacky rubber without anything storebought. Thank you

Hi Aarav,

You can use any plastic to cover your racket after use. Just cut out some plastic from a relatively firm sheet.

For cleaning, I tend to use water and a sponge to clean my rubber.  The main thing is to get the dust off before you store it.

You don't need to spend a lot to maintain your equipment well.

Tone is in Your Fingers

There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
