Hi Danish,

As you develop your game you will find that one side will develop and the other may feel like it is going backwards.

Often this has to do with your stance.  When you start to focus on one side, you also start to turn your feet to favour that side.  This will make it awkward for playing strokes with the other side.

Try to keep your feet quite central so that you are able to play both forehand and backhand equally as well.

Think also about your technique for both sides.  Think of the two simple techniques that we show you in our lessons on the Forehand Counterhit and the Backhand Counterhit.

Take it slowly and keep working on it each time you train.  It will improve.

Banana Flick

The banana flick has become one of the most important returns in table tennis. It allows you to attack almost any short ball and places your opponent under immediate pressure. Still it is a difficult stroke that takes a lot of practice to master.
