Equipment
How can I choose a good T.T racket, grip and rubber.
Hi Rishal,
There are hundreds and hundreds of options out there.
There are a few main levels of racket that you should look at. The first is an entry level bat that you will be able to learn technique with. We have the PingSkills Rook for this.
The next level is the racket you can use to develop your game beyond basics but still provide good control. We have the PingSkills Touch with Mark V. There are also a few more options then where you can go for faster and spinnier. We have the Yasaka Pryde rubber and Vega Pro rubber for these purposes.
However don't get too caught up with the equipment war. Find something that is reasonable for you and then train hard.
There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
