Curving the ball during the serve

Serving

Hi Alois, Jeff

How can I get the ball to curve in the air when doing the side spin serve? Although I haven't faced my own serves so I am not sure if it really curves in the air or not, but from what I observe it doesn't seem to do a lot while it is travelling, everything happens after it bounces on the other side.

Hi Abhinav,

This is OK.  If the ball is still spinning then you are doing well.

The ball will only curve if you slow it down.  This doesn't mean that there is no spin just that the speed of the ball doesn't allow it to curve.
