Alois,

Do you think it is good idea to have a short ox rubber on the forehand side and anti spin rubber on the backhand side on a offensive blade. I like to counter hit with my short pip. Shall I buy short pips with thin sponge?

Thanking you in advance, Rodrigo

Hi Rodrigo,

I think short pimple Ox on the forehand would be quite limiting because it doesn't allow you to attack easily at all.  It is OK if you are going to be totally defending and like the feel of the pimple without sponge.  It wouldn't be very good to countering.  If you used a thin sponge it would help a little.

Tone is in Your Fingers

There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
