uhm i am an all around player usually a backhand dominated style and occasional forehand blocks.. i wanted to try chopping but the ball just flies off the table what do i do?

Hi Samuel,

To chop with inverted rubber takes a bit of touch.  You need to have a softer more relaxed hand to keep the ball from flying off the end.

This something that you can practice during a training session.  Work on it for a few weeks and then see if you can implement it in a match.

Remember touch is the key.  Perhaps see if your bat is too fast as well.
