how important is it to be able to breathe properly and be able to think of a strategy for the coming points in table tennis?

Hi Joe,

This is a good routine to get into. When you feel your breathing starting to get a little short, it is time to take a few seconds to take a deep breath and relax again.

After you have taken a breath and feel calm, then focus for 1 or 2 seconds on the strategy you want to employ for the next point.  This can be as simple as where to serve or return the ball.
