Hi alois.

it's 1 year im playing.im not a beginner and im not an advanced player.  i know the basic strokes and im improving.  i have practiced 2 hours each day.  i have beaten a lot of players in the city. 4 months ago I bought a butterfly timo boll spirit. fh sriver and bh sriver fx.  now I find it hard to play with in my level its too fast.  sometimes the ball goes out at the end of the table.  do you think I need to buy a non-carbon blade and play with it a while to improve more and then Return to my carbon blade or just stick with this blade to get used to?

Hi Ali,

Four months is quite a while to try and get used to a blade.  It may be best to go for a slower blade for 6 months or so and see if that suits you better.

Tone is in Your Fingers

There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
