Dear alois or jeff,

I am a beginner table tennis player and I am wondering what I should focus on most. Like what techniques and strokes would be best to start me off in a good position

P.S: love watching your lessons

Hi Bob,

Definitely the four basic strokes.  The forehand and backhand counterhits and the forehand and backhand push.  Then work on our serves.

If you can do these things well you will improve quickly.
