I am left-handed player and i'm wondering advantages and disadvantages of being left-handed? Can you explain the right strategies when defensive and offensive plays?

Hi Kursad,

I think our best advantage is that there are less of us... This means that right handers play against left handers less often and therefore are less used to playing left handers.

I don't see too many disadvantages of being left handed for both offensive and defensive left handers.

Strategies stay the same whether left or right handed.  It is a matter of utilising your strengths and finding the areas of weakness in your opponents to exploit.

Berry v Datta

Shibaji Datta is a hot favourite in this match up against the unusual style of Brian Berry who loves to mix the game up with some great defensive play and some whippy forehand attacks.
