Hi, Im a 10 year old table tennis enthusiast and i've been wondering how to add some sidespin to my topspin shot, I've tried pushing to paddle sideways while i topspin, but it never works!!

Anyway, thanks, Andrew

Hi Andrew,

Take a look at this lesson on the Sidespin Forehand Topspin in our Strokes & Technique section.

However, it is really important that you get the straight topspin correct first before trying to master the sidespin topspin.
