Wrist Application on topspin

Strokes

I saw many players having a topspin with arms and with their wrist. Does this affect the amount of speed, spin and control on the ball?

Hi Adam,

Bringing your wrist through with the stroke will add spin and speed. Don't think too much about your wrist initially.  Let it relax and come through with your shot rather than forcing it through.  This will mean you will end up with a much more natural stroke and more spin and speed later.
