Hi Edo,

Unfortunately, you start with 15 years of solid training...

Chen Weixing is an exceptional athlete.  You will notice the strength of his forehand topspin.  His other strength is his defense especially on his backhand.

Learning this style of play is very difficult.  That is why it takes so long to perfect.

The basic technique when you are starting for the backhand chop or defense is to start with your bat around shoulder or head heigh.  If you are a right hander this should start at your left shoulder or on the left hand side of your head.  The swing is down and in a straight plane.  The finsih position is down near your right knee.

Practice it and see if you can master the basic stroke first.
