Equipment
I am getting a table tennis table that will live in the garage, and we'll fold it when we're not playing on it. I live near Atlanta Georgia where the temperatures could, while rare, be in the teens and in the summer your talking about upper 90's and low 100s with very high humidity.
Do y'all recommend an indoor or outdoor table? Also, any recommendations?
Hi Shane,
I would go for an indoor table. If you are playing and storing it inside then that is the way to go.
The outdoor tables are only recommended if you are going to keep the table outside and play with it outside. You will get much better value and a better bounce with an indoor table.
As far as which brand, it depends on what is available where you are. For general things to look for take a look at the video on Choosing a Table Tennis Table.
Question actions
The thickness of a table tennis table is the most important aspect of a table to ensure you get a true consistent bounce. Other things to consider are the net, portability, and storage space.
