Hello,

This is Prasanna from India. I am an intermediate player. I watch your tutorial to improve my game. I really play well in rally before a match. But I am unable to score points in match. I really don't know which ball to hit and which not to hit. This I feel that I am weak in returning the ball both in service and rally in match. By any chance can you help me on this?

Hi Prasanna,

I think in training practice the first few balls in the rally more.  The serve and return of serve are crucial in a game situation.  The hitting is the next step.  If you can't get through eh first couple of balls then the rest of the rally is irrelevant.

This is an area that you can improve quickly.

Also then play more practice games in your training so you get the feel for when you need to hit and when to control the ball.  As a general rule if the ball only bounces once on the table then you can attack it.
