Strategy
Hi Alois,
I know they're both important but if you had to choose one, which would you choose to develop first? Being able to hit the ball where you want with medium speed, or hitting the ball much faster but less accurate with where it lands on the opponent's side of the table?
I've been focusing more on a faster pace but a lot of my shots end up hitting the table towards the middle providing my opponent with an easy-to-block ball and I'm thinking I should change that approach to hit with less power and more placement. What are your thoughts?
Hi Gary,
You are right, they are both important. Firstly though learn to place the ball correctly and then you can think about hitting the ball faster.
