P.S: is it possible to make up your own seves?
Hi Jonathan,
The main thing is to watch the ball. Remember it can only do certain things. Let yourself react to the ball that is coming. A player can't do something that is impossible to return.
You certainly can make up your own serves. Just experiment with your swing and see what you can do.
The banana flick has become one of the most important returns in table tennis. It allows you to attack almost any short ball and places your opponent under immediate pressure. Still it is a difficult stroke that takes a lot of practice to master.
