Unattractive bruising on edge of racket

I have recently bought the stiga touch bat, and after a couple of games the stiga tape on one end had bruised as if it were smashed onto something, and looks very unattractive. Should i buy a new stiga tape or is there some way to fix it? Thanks.

Hi Adwaith,
The edging doesn't effect performance. The edge is often damaged with slight contact with the table. This is a natural part of playing.
