Hi Alois.

I wanted to buy Joola balls but I found them really hard and fast.

Now I want to buy donic coach balls which are really cheap.

I found a shop that sells each one about 0.30$.

I have never practiced multiball.

How many of them do you recommend to start with?

Hi Ali,

I would start with 50 balls.  This will be a good amount to do multi-ball with.

Usually the harder balls will be more reliable and have a more even bounce.  The 3 start balls are harder than the training balls.

Alois, what makes the ball harder or softer?

It is in the manufacturing.  The amount of material in the ball usually and then the evenness of the material.  They start as 2 discs of celluloid and then get moulded into shape.

Do you mean that ball manufactures have a specific production line for the three star balls ?

They produce all the balls together and then sort them according to their weight and then they check for evenness and roundness.
