Hi Alois,

Just a simple question. Is the finish position for the topspin stroke always be in front your eyebrow? Or just a matter of preference? Because i find my finish position for my topspin stroke depends on the ball that i receive..

Cheers

Hi Antonius,

The finish can vary but there are a few principles that you should try to keep.  Make sure the bat doesn’t swing across your body and try to finish up near your head level.  The speed of your shot and the ball that comes will require some small variations on where that finish is.

What do you mean by not swinging across your body?

I think it means not finishing your bat at the other side(side of your hand in which you are not holding bat) of your body.

Am I right?

If you imagine a line down the middle of your body, then try to get the bat to stop at that line and not cross over.
