Topspin against short pips

Sir i have noticed in the video that the loop is the most imp. shot. But sir when a player returns the ball with short pips the effect of the loops decrease and i am unable to hit proper shots on the third shot. Please help.

Hi Pronit,

The short pips will flatten out the spin on the topspin.  The ball will come back to you quite flat and without much topspin.  It will almost feel like it has backspin on it.

For the next ball you need to lift the ball a little more than you would think.  You can even slow the shot up a little and lift the ball more vertically with your stroke.
