Strokes
Sir i have noticed in the video that the loop is the most imp. shot. But sir when a player returns the ball with short pips the effect of the loops decrease and i am unable to hit proper shots on the third shot. Please help.
Hi Pronit,
The short pips will flatten out the spin on the topspin. The ball will come back to you quite flat and without much topspin. It will almost feel like it has backspin on it.
For the next ball you need to lift the ball a little more than you would think. You can even slow the shot up a little and lift the ball more vertically with your stroke.
Give this a try and see if it works for you.
Most players are told to always return to the ready position after every stroke but that might be hurting your game. In this video, we reveal a smarter way to recover:
✔ Track the ball immediately after your shot
✔ Move your racket into position for the next shot instead of blindly resetting
✔ Improve your timing, balance, and flow during rallies
Whether you’re a beginner or advanced player, understanding this subtle change can have a big impact on your consistency and speed around the table.
