Top of the bounce

Strokes

My question is on counter hitting. I do not always hit at the top of the bounce. I am late, then I have to use some topspin sometimes. Should I start to swing early as the ball is coming up?

Thanks!

Hi Joseph,

It is probably ideal to hit at the top of the bounce in general. However, if you are hitting it later it is OK too. Β It will give you a different type of ball.

If you want to hit the ball at the top of the bounce then you will need to start swinging a bit earlier.
