I'm too short and when the ball comes right in front of the table net i can nor reach neither run to the right left corner
Hi Roshni,
I used to have this problem for a long time!
You will find that there are very few balls that you can't reach if you let the ball come to you. You also need to get as close to the table as you can . If you are a right hander, step with your right foot as far under the table as you can.
You can also try to keep the ball deep on their side. From there it is more difficult for them to hit the ball close to the net.
Don't worry it won't be long until you will be able to reach all of them.
A chopper likes to get back from the table and get into a nice rhythm. If you keep the defender close to the table in the early part of the rally, it's hard for them to transition back into their chopping position. So keep the ball short on your serve and try and catch them unprepared. Watch the video to find out more great tactics to use against a defensive chopper.
