My coach always asks me to improve three things in my game, i.e., ball reading, footwork and timing to hit a ball.....
what should i do to improve all these??

Ball reading is about how well you watch the ball. This doesn't just mean looking at the ball, it means watching it carefully. This will give you the best information as to where the ball is going.
Footwork is just a matter of hard work. You need to do a lot of footwork drills. Here is a link to some training drills that you can do. It is part of our free downloads. Training Drills.
Timing again is a matter of doing a lot of hitting. You need to hit a lot of balls to get the feeling of when the best time is to hit the ball.
I guess it all comes sown to a lot of hitting over a long period of time. You also need to allow yourself some time to make these improvements.
