hi,

What should i do with my other hand when i play table tennis (the hand that doesn't hold the racket) ?

Hi David,

Your free hand should be in a balanced position to keep your whole body balanced.

If it is down beside you, it will tend to mean that your non preferred side will not be helping your strokes.
