This may sound ridiculous. But is there a way to purposely hit the net so my opponent has to hit back the ball high because they have to rush to the table.? Thanks, Ciaran.

Hi Ciaran,

Only with a lot of training.

The best players in the World are aiming low but they don't aim to hit the net each time because it is too risky.  Practice it and you will start to get the ball lower at least.

#15 - Using Depth

In this session we talk about the length of your placement. Often we think that we need to always hit the ball deeper and faster however sometimes playing a shorter ball during a rally can catch your opponent off guard. If this happens to you, you need to ensure you are able to move forward and deal with the shorter ball.
