I have a pingskills touch with Mark V and I want to advance my game and get Tenergy 05. I have use Tenergy on other peoples blades but I don't know how it will go on the Pingskills Touch. I want to know what the Pingskills touch would do to the Tenergy and if it will be a good combination.

Thanks, Evan

Hi Evan,

Tenergy 05 would work well with the PingSkills Touch. I use Xiom Vega Pro on the PingSkills Touch and it is a comparable rubber. As long as you've developed good control with the Mark V, you'll love moving up to Tenergy 05.

Choosing a Table Tennis Bat

Make sure you buy a table tennis bat that is suitable for your level and allows you to develop your technique. For your first bat we recommend the PingSkills Rook, and when you upgrade to a custom bat we recommend the PingSkills Touch with Mark V or Rakza 7.

Hi Jonathan,

I would not recommend Tenergy 05 for a beginner as it is a really fast rubber. It's important that you learn the correct technique before using such a fast rubber.

As a guide that sounds OK. The Lion 5 star rubbers on the PingSkills Rook are excellent for beginners. As you progress Mark V and Sriver are both great rubbers to use.
