HY!!!!!
Thanks to your Answers to my questions, i have been able to reach the finals in the school table tennis tournament.
Now i have to face a great player.. can you give me some advice on tactics on how to beat him. He has good but weak backhand, good backhand serve and smashes on forehand side.
I think doing a reverse pendulum serve which is long, fast and with a lot of spin will earn me some points.
I have good backhand and forehand smash, good backhand and forehand topspin
help me!!!!!!
Hi Maaz,
You have already identified a couple of things. Without me seeing him play it is difficult but think about exploiting the weaknesses. Try to make him play as many backhands as possible.
Use the things you have identified. Then keep the pressure on by maintaining your composure and focus.
God luck. Let me know how it goes.
Question actions
In this video, we share 2 essential tips that can instantly improve your doubles play whether you're just starting out or already competing in matches.
🏓 Tip 1: Learn why playing more shots down the line helps your partner stay in position and how a well-timed cross-court attack can still surprise your opponents.
🏓 Tip 2: Discover the power of serving short and close to the centre line to reduce your opponents’ attacking options and give your team the advantage.
These small adjustments can make a big difference in your coordination, positioning, and success as a doubles pair.

Thank you!!!!
the finals is on 7/3/2013, Thursday, that is tomorrow. I would try to request the school principle to allow us to widen the place for playing, then I will have another advantage , I am good at blocking smashes from far off the table and my opponent cannot play with heavy back spin on the ball. If this happens i would surely win the match
Good luck.
