Strokes
how to pick the swinging ball/chop?? i often pick it with a straight racket and it strikes the net or if i pick it with backhand it goes out of the table... so whats say hw should i pick t????
Hi Arslan,
If the ball has chop then you could try playing it with a push return. If you play it with a flat bat it will go straight down towards the table. So by tilting the bat back you will counteract that effect and get the ball to go over the net.
The banana flick has become one of the most important returns in table tennis. It allows you to attack almost any short ball and places your opponent under immediate pressure. Still it is a difficult stroke that takes a lot of practice to master.
