Hello ping skills

I have been in and out of your web site for up to a month and have decided I am a bronze level player. I have been wondering how much more I can get out of your dvd's compared to the major help I've already gotten from the free video lessons on your site.

I realy want to step my game up and get the biggest bang for my buck. What suggestions do you have for me?

Hi Chris,

The 2 major DVDs that we have produced aren't on the lessons page. They are Serving Secrets Revealed and Training Secrets Revealed.

In Serving Secrets we go through several different types of serves including the Pendulum, Reverse Pendulum, Tomahawk, Backhand, and High Toss serves. We aslo show you how to get different types of spin on all of those serves. We go through Backspin, sidespin, topspin and then how to generate more spin. We then talk about some advanced serving and how to vary spin, speed and placement of your serves. Finally we show you the best way to proactice your serves.

We think it is a great asset for table tennis players.

Training Secrets Revealed shows you how to structure your training session, how to do some physical warm ups, on table warm ups, and then we go through a whole range of drills that will help you to focus on different aspects of your game. I think the best feature of this DVD is that we explain which types of players should use each drill to improve their game.

We break the drill up into Footwork drills and Match drills. The footwork drills help us to learn how to move during a game and also play our strokes correctly. The match drills show us how to set up a point and become more match like with your training. We explain how to choose your drills and then show you some different games ideas that you can use during your training session.

We provide a download of an Action PLan that you can personalise or your tarining session by choosing the appropriate elements from the warm ups, drills and games and then put that into a training plan just for you.

We hope that these two DVDs will help players of all standards above and beyond what we provide as free lesson son the website. The sale of these DVDs allows us to keep functioning the website.

Hey, there is something else you can do that always helped me when I started playing 3 years ago. You could watch other World Class players over youtube. Study their way of playing and find someone who best suits the way how you play, mine is Timo Boll. This is a really good way of getting really good, really quickly :). Also, something else you could do is go to your nearest club (that is, if you don't already; if you do, then nevermind). You could even strive to join the league and play for your county. If you do this then you can maximise your practice on the table and get some match expereince that will improve your game. I hope this helps you
