Stretching the rubber while pasting

Hello Sir,

I am Ganesh from India. I usually use the vulcanizing glue for pasting my rubbers. I would like to know if there will be a visible effect if i stretch the rubber while pasting? I accidentally stretched the rubber last time while pasting. I still haven't played with it, but i already started worrying if this will create a sort of tensor effect on the rubber or shorten the life of rubber.

Also i fear if it will impart more of catapult effect and make it uncontrollable.

I am just wondering if this is also a means of making a normal rubber working as tensor rubber?

Your inputs highly appreciated.

Thanks Ganesh

Hi Ganesh,

Firstly using the vulcanising glue is now illegal.  he glue will stretch your rubber and will tend to wear out the rubber more quickly.  The reason they use Tensor rubbers now is to get a similar effect as players used to get with the vulcanising glue.
