Hi coaches! I don't know how to learn topspin correctly. Is it better to learn brushing the ball by doing not low strokes,  then try to do lower spinny strokes?  Or is it better to learn doing low strokes (drive) many times in a row, then slightly trying to brush the ball to do spinny strokes? Or what steps do you suggest ?

Hi Ardak,

I think you can focus on the topspin after you have mastered the counterhit strokes.  The topspin is a small extension of the counterhit by adding a slightly more brushing contact and longer stroke.

Yes this will be a good progression.  Also for the topspin against backspin, start lower and finish higher.
