Hello,

I am  a returning player who forgot all and starting as a beginner.

My questions:

  • how to block a smash
  • how to  smash when got the opportunity. It seems am afraid to hit the ball.

Thank you.

Take a look at:

I Can't Return That Smash

Forehand Smash

These two tutorials will give you a good insight into how you can improve your game.

The Finish Position

There are 3 basic areas to focus on when learning a stroke: 1) The position of your feet. 2) The starting position of your bat. 3) The finishing position of your bat. Of all these 3 elements the finish position is the most critical. Watch this video to find out why.
