Serving
Hey Coach,
I'm an intermediate player and I just joined my local table tennis club. I played one of the best players in my club, Raymond Mack, and he said that I have very little spin on my forehand serve. I've tried generating more spin, but with the rubber I have, Butterfly Bryce, I cant seem to get the tack I need AND get the ball over the net. Any tips?
Thanks,
Joe Thompson
Hi Joe,
Bryce in good condition will allow you to generate good spin.
Think about the contact that you are getting on the ball. Let the ball bite into the rubber to spin it.
To generate spin you need to brush the ball fast. We have lots of information on serving in our Serving Secrets section.
