How to smash such that it shouldn't rise up in opponents table..so that there won't be any time for him to pick it or block.

Hi Rajguru,

If you hit the ball from lower then it will go lower on their side of the table.  However, this is also a riskier stroke.  The best thing is to hit the ball from around shoulder height.  That will allow you to hit the ball hard and still ahem good margin for error over the net.
